Hi, I'm Chris Havenar —

based in Tulsa, OK.

I'm a Senior Financial Analyst and Certified Treasury Professional with more than a decade of experience in municipal finance, capital planning, and treasury management. My career has centered on helping public organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions — whether that's forecasting revenues, managing large capital portfolios, or structuring major bond issuances. Over the years I've managed more than a billion dollars in municipal debt, supported hundreds of long-term infrastructure projects, and improved financial processes through automation and systems development.

Outside of work I'm passionate about technology. I write Python scripts for data automation and analysis, manage a home server that hosts media and self-hosted services, and enjoy projects that blend finance, data, and software. Whether it's a custom automation script, a SQL query, or tuning a Linux stack, I enjoy building things that work quietly and reliably.

At the core, I'm driven by continuous improvement — of systems, organizations, and my own skills. My goal is always to build solutions that are not only accurate and reliable, but sustainable and easy for others to use.
